More than five years ago the first seeds were planted which became Isaiah 61 Ministries. Our mission is to “continue the ministry of Jesus … who came to release His followers from the bondage of satanic oppression.” Jesus gave His followers power and authority to drive out all evil spirits and to cure diseases, and He sent them out to preach the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick (Luke 9:1-2). We believe that these instructions to His followers have not changed, so this is the work of Isaiah 61.

Healing and deliverance are not easy ministries and we face many challenges. We are pressing forward, however, and have been blessed over and over again as we see people saved, captives set free, marriages and families restored, and many healed from various illnesses and afflictions. We now have ministry partners working with us who represent various denominations and missionary sending organizations serving in a number of countries. We have developed training materials and other resources to help us carry out this part of the work that Jesus assigned to His church. We also are sending out our own I-61 missionaries who serve both in the USA and other countries.

There is much more to be done, however. As Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.” (Luke 10:2) We, likewise, need ministry partners to join us in this work and ask for your prayerful consideration to support us.
